Once again I find myself on the sunny west coast. I'm in San Francisco this week for meetings and a little bit of touristing. It has been a horribly long and bitter winter on PEI. We've had a near record number of storms, school has been canceled more times than in recent memory, and it generally has been soul crushingly crappy.
Becky and I arrived in San Francisco yesterday to sunshine and 18 degree (Celsius) temperatures. Today is a repeat of yesterday. Already we feel better and feel the SADs draining out of our systems. PEI is a wonderful place to live from May to November. Not so much in the other months...

It's pretty funny... everyone here was worried you guys were going to complain about the cold weather here in SF. It's been pretty chilly (for us) the past few weeks.

If it makes you feel any better, come June the fog will be rolling in for three months...

Daniel - Who are these people that worry on our behalf? We should have brought them something from the hinterland for their efforts. Right now it's 20 degrees warmer here than at home. We're not complaining at all.
Paul - In all of the times I've been to SF I've only seen the fog once. Three months of it doesn't sound great. Thankfully June through August is beautiful on PEI. We'll be sure to host any meetings during that time :)
