Most businesses get a lot of spam phone calls. Buy this, sell that, give us money, here's your free ink cartridge, etc. Unfortunately the do not-call-list does not apply to businesses. After fielding dozens of these calls a week, often from belligerent sales people, we took matters into our own hands.
Now when we get a call that seems suspicious we ask a few questions to suss them out. Once we've deduced that they are trying to sell us something that we don't want we transfer them to one of a series of pre-recorded messages They think they are real people.
More often than not hilarity ensues. Today we captured a particularly good one. The names and number of the company have been covered up to protect their privacy (if only they would protect ours). The character in this call is Chet. He works in our marketing department.

Man that's superb. Any chance you can make the 'Chet' available for other people to use?
