I'm an extreme weather junkie and this is the kind of thing that really gets me going. It's not a hurricane yet but is forecast to be one.
I'm charging the camera & GPS batteries, prepping the car, and patching up the Goretex.... Check back here for updates.

The GPS batteries? Just how far do you think its going to blow you? ;)
Here is halifax I've only heard murmurs about "some rain on the weekend" so far...I'm sure all the Juan veterans will start kicking into gear soon..

My GPS has a barometer on it :) I also will need to find the shortest route from where I am standing to the center of the hurricane.

Ahhh....that makes more sense...Good stuff, should be interesting to see how close to Halifax it is when it makes landfall!
