Hi Jake. You are right, they are digital. I did it by taking three fully charged lithium ion batteries for my Optio S. I used about 2.5 of the batteries up over the 21 days. For storage I had two 256MB secure digital cards.
sounds like a fun trip. I would highly suggest any interested in nice scenery take a Outward Bound journey. However I am sure their was a downside to this trip too, unless you guys were a bunch of city whiners and got to have daily showers :P I hope in your upcoming summary you report exactly where you went rock climbing...as a lot of the rocks out on the west coast are incredible spots to rock climb!

I assume these were digital-- how did you do that and manage not to totally run out of batteries? Did you take a bunch of AAs?
